How to Keep Your Carpet Cleaner For Longer

Compliment your Cleaning?  ….  Protect your Investment?

The application of carpet and fabric protector not only compliments your cleaning, but is proven to be an excellent way of protecting your investment.

Why have your carpets protected?

The application of a professional carpet protector assures you of the best protection possible against re-soling and stains. At Oran Cleaning Service the product of choice is Protect Nano. This is a water based fluorchemical polymer which imparts excellent oil and water repellence to carpets and textiles.

By resisting dry soil, less soil bonds to the carpet, therefore more soil is picked up as you vacuum. Making sure you have a sufficient amount of protector on your carpet will help keep the soil from bonding to the carpet.  Once soil bonds to the carpet, it acts like sandpaper on your traffic area. Once the traffic area yarns are broken down, there is no way to bring them back to their original state. The treatment, when applied forms an invisible protective, UV stable, breathable barrier to the fibres. It does not change the look or feel of the fibre.

The repellent finish is effective against water, coffee, tea, red wine. Most liquid spillages will pearl off the treated fibre. Spillages should not be left untreated and should be removed by applying a dry absorbent cloth to the surface allowing the liquid to drawn away. Do not rub, simply blot lightly to remove.

Protect Nano can be applied with equal success to new carpet or freshly cleaned carpets that are damp or dry. It does not adversely affect other topical treatments such a flame retardants, or anti static coatings. Carpet Protected fibres essentially have a barrier to lessen the entanglement of abrasive soil within a carpet…thus vacuuming is far more productive. This means you reduce the wear and tear and the abrasive effects of soil within your carpet. Hence, with routine Maintenance, protected carpets will last longer than un-protected carpets.
